Jamie Pressly got a nice surprise this weekend–an engagement ring. The Emmy-nominated hottie actress, known as trash-talking Joy on NBC’s “My Name is Earl,” got engaged to her boyfriend, DJ Eric Cubiche.
Jamie’s publicist Megan Pope confirmed the engagement, saying “It’s a beautiful ring. They’ve been dating about a year and a half, and have been friends for nine years.”
Perhaps Jamie is better known for getting naked on film. Jamie started her film career as Drew Barrymore’s body-double in the film “Poison Ivy.” Jamie also posed nude for the March 1998 and February 2004 issues of Playboy. In 2003, Jamie launched her own line of lingerie called “J’Aime” which has since become a full-line of clothing including sleepware.
In an interview with Dr. Drew, Jamie said she has no trouble with nudity. “Being nude in front of a photographer doesn’t bother me. I love being naked–who doesn’t come home after a long day and just strip off? It’s the best thing you can do.”
I agree, especially when you have a body cut like Jamie’s.

Stop the presses! North Korea has the bomb. Iran is trying to get the bomb. But Jennifer Anniston says she doesn’t need da bomb.
The former “Friends” star says the “boob job” reports are the latest in a string of tabloid lies about her. Jennifer told Oprah, “It’s called 10 pounds. You’re either ‘Look at the bump’ or pregnant… when, instead, it’s like a couple (of) cheese plates too many. You gain weight and that’s where it goes on me.” Hmm, one cup size per 10 pounds? Not a bad deal.
Jennifer put modesty aside to pose semi-nude on the cover of “GQ Magazine” to celebrate being the first woman ever honored by GQ’s “Man of the Year” issue. GQ said Jennifer showed a lot of poise, grace and good humor during her breakup with Brad Pitt this year. So what is GQ saying, that Jennifer took it like a man?
The “boob job” rumors started after the GQ cover became public. Eagle-eye viewers cite the “bump within a bump” in Jennifer’s topless photo (see below) as clear proof that she has silicone dreams.
Whatever! If it’s true (which I doubt) who could blame Jennifer for seeking a little plastic surgery to overcome her sense of rejection? With or without implants, Jennifer is still one of the sexiest actresses today. Her recent movies have shown she is one of the more talented actresses too.
And as we’ve always said, “If they’re in my hands, they’re real!”

Country singer Sara Evans has quit ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” mid-season to focus on divorcing her husband, Craig Schelske. In papers filed Thursday, Evans alleges that her husband committed adultery, was verbally and emotionally abusive, drank excessively, watched pornography on the computer, and has at least 100 nude photographs of himself in a state of arousal.
Schelske denied all of the allegations in statement issued Friday night: “I have made the decision to forgive Sara for the unfortunate campaign that she and her publicity advisors are currently waging. Sara has unfortunately become a dramatically different person over the last year and it is something we have struggled to deal with. Sadly, it appears we have failed.”
And therein lies one of the many fundamental flaws in marriage: You are expected to open up and bare your soul to your mate, only to have your mate use your inner demons against you in a court of law. For the sake of their three kids, let’s hope that Evans and Schelske find a way to battle in a more private venue.

Rachel Bilson, who plays Summer on Fox’s waning TV show “The O.C.,” has just signed on to appear in the sci-fi movie “The Jumper.”
The sci-fi teleportation movie is being produced by Doug Liman, who was also responsible for box office smashes “The Bourne Identity” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Both movies gained notoriety for their tumultuous behind-the-scenes trouble, and it appears that “The Jumper” is no exception.
“Jumper” was supposed to start filming this summer, but huge screenplay rewrites and casting changes have pushed back the start date, and the movie is now slated to be released sometime in 2008 (maybe). After Darth Hayden Christensen replaced Tom Sturridge on the movie, another role has been “reconceived” from a 20-year-old woman to a 25-year-old. As a result, Bilson replaced Teresa Palmer in that role. The movie also stars one of our favorite actors, Samuel L. Jackson.
We think Rachel Bilson is one of the cutest actresses on TV right now, and she actually has some real talent, which unfortunately is not being utilized much on the lightweight O.C. Let’s hope this new movie role will give Rachel the chance to shine that she deserves.

Josh Holloway, who plays sexy bad boy Sawyer on ABC’s “Lost”, worries that his show’s penchant for killing off its characters will someday come a knockin’ his way.
In the November issue of Men’s Journal Magazine, Holloway says, “Everybody in the cast worries about being killed off, and we wouldn’t know until they handed us the script — three days before shooting. It’s a sensitive issue. People have houses here, kids in school. Most of us aren’t in our twenties anymore.”
It would seem that as a long as Holloway keeps his driving record clean, he will remain a gainfully employed con man. Last season Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia, below) and Cynthia Watros (Libby) were both arrested and charged with DUI in Hawaii. Shortly after, Michael murdered both their characters in an attempt to free Ben and ultimately his son.
Then Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays Mr. Eko, was charged with two traffic offenses in Hawaii, and sure enough, the fate of his character Mr. Eko is unknown. Last time we saw him, Eko was in direct line of a powerful blast in the hatch. Police later dropped those misdemeanor charges, so maybe Mr. Eko is alive and well after all.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie have ended their yearlong public feud that nearly killed the reality show that made them famous. Hilton and Richie have agreed to film a fifth season of “The Simple Life” together that will air on E! next spring.
The 25-year-old celebrity princesses had a very public falling out that resulted in the co-stars filming their Simple Life parts separately. Rumor has it the feud started when Richie played Hilton’s infamous green-light sex tape at a party and mocked Paris’ oral skills.
However their reconciliation may have been more the case of two enemies joining forces against a greater enemy. For the fifth season, Simple Life producers planned to strand the two women on a deserted island with a bunch of survivalists. Given their disdain for the island idea, Hilton and Richie reportedly rekindled their friendship and joined forces against the producers. Instead, the pair will appear together onscreen as camp counselors, and the show will explore what led to their breakup and “maybe some of the misunderstandings and things that got in the way.”
I realize a country cannot choose its royalty, but are these two the best the U.S. has to offer?

“Lost” Season 3 opens with its traditional tight focus on the human eye. In this case, we are peering into the soul of Juliet, played with eerie compassion by Elizabeth Mitchell. Juliet appears to be just another housewife who burns muffins and hosts a book club. But a sudden earthquake reveals that Juliet is an Other, and rumor has it that Juliet will soon become Jack’s love interest.
Mitchell has appeared on many TV shows including ER, CSI, Law & Order: SVU, Boston Legal and House. But perhaps Mitchell is best-known for her role as Angelina Jolie’s reluctant lesbian lover in the movie “Gia.” Who can forget the scene where the two dance naked together, separated only by a chain link fence? Brings new meaning to the term “safe sex”.
