Eva Longoria’s marriage failed on "Desperate Housewives" in part because she was personally tipping the lawn boy. But in real life, Eva is hoping for a better result with her engagement to basketball star Tony Parker.

The 31-year-old actress said "yes" to her longtime beau, 24-year-old French-born Parker, who is point guard for the San Antonio Spurs. The couple met in 2004, briefly split in September, but obviously turned things around after a romantic trip to Paris in October.

Longoria’s representative Liza Anderson confirms, "Eva and Tony are officially engaged. The couple has never been happier. Tony flew into Los Angeles last night after his game and surprised Eva at her home as she got off work". Lucky for Eva she wasn’t tipping the lawn boy at the time!

Anderson continued: "The couple plans to wed in France in the summer of 2007 in what they describe as a big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends." This will be the first marriage for Parker and the second marriage for Eva, who in 2004 divorced Tyler Christopher from ABC’s "General Hospital" after two years.

When Eva and Tony started dating, Eva publicly stated that she was "the teacher" in the bedroom and that Tony was an excellent student. Well, that’s one class in which I wouldn’t mind getting lots of homework!

After four long months of Hollywood marriage, Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock each filed divorce papers Monday within minutes of each other citing the standard “irreconcilable differences”.

“Yes, it’s true. Unfortunately impossible,” Anderson wrote in a brief statement on her Web site under the heading “11/27/06 Divorce.”

What’s impossible is that anyone expected this duo to last. Their roller coaster relationship first became public when they were engaged in 2002. They split up the following year, but reunited in 2005 and were married this summer–multiple times. Their first wedding was in late July near St. Tropez, France. They officially tied the knot at the Beverly Hills courthouse on August 3rd. And just to make sure it would last, Pam and Kid held another wedding ceremony in Nashville on August 17.

Anderson confirmed earlier this month on her web site that she had suffered a miscarriage. Would her future with Kid been different if she had his kid?

Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff are together again on the beach, this time to promote the release of DVD box sets for the first two seasons of their former hit TV show “Baywatch“. They were joined by other “Baywatch” stars including Traci Bingham and Donna D’Errico.

“Baywatch” was produced from 1989-2001 and followed a group of sexy California lifeguards at work and play. Never before has slow-motion technology been used to such great effect. Fans of the show may remember the opening credits that included a bevy of buxom bikini babes bouncing in slow motion as they run along the beach. At one point, “Baywatch” aired on every continent except Antarctica, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Anderson splashed into pop culture as tool girl on the hit sitcom “Home Improvement,” followed by many naked appearances in Playboy and an infamous sex tape with former husband Tommy Lee. Anderson joined “Baywatch” in the second season in 1992 and stayed with the show for five years. “Every day was so fun,” Anderson recalled. “It’s the best job in the world, being at the beach every day with my dog and my kids… Nothing has compared to it since.”

Hasselhoff added: “I think the secret of its success was that it was always about saving lives, not taking lives.” Well, that or the buxom bouncing babes.

Marcia Cross‘ trash may be treasure for one lucky garbage man.

Cross, one of the MILF stars of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives“, is trying to recover a collection of personal photos that wound up in the hands of a garbage collector she hired to remove trash from her home. The photos include nude shots of Cross in an outdoor shower.

Lawyers for the 44-year-old actress said that Cross accidentally threw out the snapshots and the photos are the copyrighted property of Cross and her husband.

True, says well-known porn master David Hans Schmidt, who was hired by the garbage collector to sell the photos. But Schmidt hinted the photos could be sold abroad. Scmidt also said that Cross is free to join the bidding for her photos. “I’m not looking to mortify Ms. Cross,” he said. “I just want the most money for my client.”

Schmidt, who also sold celebrity sex tapes of Paris Hilton and Colin Farrell, said Cross looked “absolutely gorgeous” in the photos. He also confirmed that Cross is a true redhead. “Yes, the carpet does match the curtains,” he told the Daily News.

Salma Hayek, one of the most beautiful actresses today, is lending two of her best assets to promote her new TV show, “Ugly Betty”. In a four-episode story arc for November sweeps, Hayek appears as a beautiful mystery woman who mysteriously loses her shirt in an elevator.

“Ugly Betty” is an adaptation from a smash Spanish-language telenovela which aired in 2001 and became an international phenomenon. The show is about a plain Jane named Betty from Queens (America Ferrera) who wears super-sized braces, horn-rimmed glasses and really bad outfits, but somehow charms her way to a job at a high fashion magazine.

The Oscar-nominated Mexican actress Hayek started her acting career in Spanish-language telenovelas. Now she is Executive Producer for “Ugly Betty”, one of ABC’s few breakout hits of the season.

“It’s a lot of fun to go back and do it,” said the 38-year old actress Hayek. “I’m making fun of myself, and very rarely do you get an opportunity to do that. By the time we finished shooting that, we were all rolling on the floor, laughing. It’s causing — I already know this for a fact — a lot of excitement in the Latin community.”

Beep beep beep. That’s the sound of a Brinks truck backing up to the house of actress Mischa Barton, whose absense may have just demonstrated her true star value.

The former smash Fox TV show “The O.C.” opened its fourth season on a sour note with a series-low audience of 3.4 million viewers. Analysts questioned whether the series would survive the loss of fan-favorite Marissa, played by pouty but sexy Mischa Barton. In last season’s finale, Marissa died after a car crash in the arms of equally pouty Ryan, her on-again off-again love played by young Russell Crowe doppleganger Benjamin McKenzie.

The death of Marissa wasn’t the only blow to the show everyone thought would become this generation’s “90210″. Last year the characters graduated high school and parted ways, losing the central glue that held them together. And this year “The O.C.” has the misfortune to air opposite TV’s #1 and #2 shows, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “CSI”.

Whether “The O.C.” can survive the season remains to be seen. Too bad, because the show has some of the finest actors in TV today. But that initial spell “The O.C.” had on us has followed Marissa out the door.

Jamie Pressly got a nice surprise this weekend–an engagement ring. The Emmy-nominated hottie actress, known as trash-talking Joy on NBC’s “My Name is Earl,” got engaged to her boyfriend, DJ Eric Cubiche.

Jamie’s publicist Megan Pope confirmed the engagement, saying “It’s a beautiful ring. They’ve been dating about a year and a half, and have been friends for nine years.”

Perhaps Jamie is better known for getting naked on film. Jamie started her film career as Drew Barrymore’s body-double in the film “Poison Ivy.” Jamie also posed nude for the March 1998 and February 2004 issues of Playboy. In 2003, Jamie launched her own line of lingerie called “J’Aime” which has since become a full-line of clothing including sleepware.

In an interview with Dr. Drew, Jamie said she has no trouble with nudity. “Being nude in front of a photographer doesn’t bother me. I love being naked–who doesn’t come home after a long day and just strip off? It’s the best thing you can do.”

I agree, especially when you have a body cut like Jamie’s.

The former “Friends” star says the “boob job” reports are the latest in a string of tabloid lies about her. Jennifer told Oprah, “It’s called 10 pounds. You’re either ‘Look at the bump’ or pregnant… when, instead, it’s like a couple (of) cheese plates too many. You gain weight and that’s where it goes on me.” Hmm, one cup size per 10 pounds? Not a bad deal.

Jennifer put modesty aside to pose semi-nude on the cover of “GQ Magazine” to celebrate being the first woman ever honored by GQ’s “Man of the Year” issue. GQ said Jennifer showed a lot of poise, grace and good humor during her breakup with Brad Pitt this year. So what is GQ saying, that Jennifer took it like a man?

The “boob job” rumors started after the GQ cover became public. Eagle-eye viewers cite the “bump within a bump” in Jennifer’s topless photo (see below) as clear proof that she has silicone dreams.

Whatever! If it’s true (which I doubt) who could blame Jennifer for seeking a little plastic surgery to overcome her sense of rejection? With or without implants, Jennifer is still one of the sexiest actresses today. Her recent movies have shown she is one of the more talented actresses too.

Rachel Bilson, who plays Summer on Fox’s waning TV show “The O.C.,” has just signed on to appear in the sci-fi movie “The Jumper.”

The sci-fi teleportation movie is being produced by Doug Liman, who was also responsible for box office smashes “The Bourne Identity” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Both movies gained notoriety for their tumultuous behind-the-scenes trouble, and it appears that “The Jumper” is no exception.

“Jumper” was supposed to start filming this summer, but huge screenplay rewrites and casting changes have pushed back the start date, and the movie is now slated to be released sometime in 2008 (maybe). After Darth Hayden Christensen replaced Tom Sturridge on the movie, another role has been “reconceived” from a 20-year-old woman to a 25-year-old. As a result, Bilson replaced Teresa Palmer in that role. The movie also stars one of our favorite actors, Samuel L. Jackson.

We think Rachel Bilson is one of the cutest actresses on TV right now, and she actually has some real talent, which unfortunately is not being utilized much on the lightweight O.C. Let’s hope this new movie role will give Rachel the chance to shine that she deserves.
